Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ValDuel platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all registration information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. User Accounts

Access to the Service is provided via Discord OAuth authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. ValDuel is not liable for any loss resulting from someone else using your account with or without your knowledge.

4. Riot Account Linking

The Service requires you to link a Riot Games account. By doing so, you authorise ValDuel to use the HenrikDev API to retrieve publicly available Valorant match data associated with your account solely for the purpose of match verification and leaderboard management. ValDuel is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to Riot Games.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to engage in match manipulation, boosting, or any form of rank fraud.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users through any feature of the Service.
  • Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or disrupt any part of the Service.
  • Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the matchmaking system.
  • Impersonate any other person or entity.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban at our sole discretion.

6. Match Disputes

All match outcomes are determined by the automated Valorant API verification system. If you believe a result was recorded incorrectly, you may submit a dispute via the in-platform Report Issue tool. Admin decisions on disputes are final.

7. Points and Rankings

Points, rankings, and leaderboard positions on ValDuel have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, traded, sold, or redeemed for any real-world consideration. We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or remove points and rankings at any time for platform integrity purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and code comprising the ValDuel platform are the exclusive property of ValDuel and its licensors. Valorant, Riot Games, and associated trademarks are property of Riot Games, Inc.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ValDuel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which ValDuel operates.
